Harms and effects of alumnium on the body

The last three decades have seen a steady increase of unwelcome forms of aluminum in our environment and diet. Many junk and fake foods contain additives, for example raising agents in muffins and donuts - and most water utilities use aluminum sulphate to clarify drinking water. Other source include antacids, buffered aspirin and anti-perspirants. Colored candies almost always have aluminium enhanced food colors. 
Aluminum (European spelling Aluminium) is harmful to all life forms.  It damages all types of tissue. "Aluminum is a protoplasmic poison and a pernicious and persistent neurotoxin". No living systems use aluminium as part of a biochemical process. It has a tendency to accumulate in the brain and bones.  It is under normal conditions considerably less toxic than mercury, arsenic, lead or cadmium, but it is much more common in our environment, it also appears to be more persistent than most of the other metallic poisons. The danger is one that only manifests itself over long periods of time. It is therefore prudent to avoid consumption. Avoidance is currently the best way of protecting you and your family from the serious, long term damage that can result from ingestion. Pregnant and lactating women, the young and the elderly are at risk. The most effective way of  preserving your mental acuity in to your later years appears to be eliminating the sources of aluminum in the diet.
One can take steps to minimise the effects of aluminium in the environment. A sustained, three pronged attack is the most effective response; 
  • Avoiding it, 
  • Blocking its uptake with supplements (calcium, magnesium, iron)
  • Eating foodstuffs that help to eliminate it from your system. Fruit on its own, green vegetables and some algaes.
Aluminum contaminated consumables are now very common. Being aware of the sources is the first step in elimination. Removing aluminum from your diet can be quite easy if a gradual approach is taken.
The principal symptom of aluminum poisoning is the loss of intellectual function; forgetfulness, inability to concentrate, and in extreme cases, full blown dementia. It is also known to cause bone softening and bone mass loss, kidney and other soft tissue damage, in large doses it can cause cardiac arrest. 
Many of those who have gone on to low aluminum diets have reported a reduction in irritability, headaches and significant improvements in memory and ability to concentrate. Parents reported improvements in children suffering from behavioral problems.
Reconstituting orange juice with aluminium treated drinking water is not recommended; Judie Walton, an Australian researcher found that brain uptake could be increased tenfold by the presence of fruit acids. Aluminum compounds can be as toxic as lead under certain conditions.
One series of tests designed to find out if lead caused ADHD came up with the finding that many of the children suffering from attention deficit disorders had higher than average levels of aluminium in their hair.  Experiments conducted at Toronto University have shown that those Alzheimer's Disease patients given treatment to remove aluminum from their system experience an immediate reduction in the rate of deterioration. Feeding even relatively small amounts of some aluminum salts to laboratory animals results in brain tissue damage identical to that found in Alzheimer's patients.  Recent research has identified aluminum fluoride as a particularly nasty substance, shown to cause the deposition of amyloid proteins (the proven cause of the tangled brain cells in most dementia cases) in the brains of rats when they are given drinking water with only 0.5  to 1 parts per million concentration. 

Aluminium additives

The following additives contain aluminium compounds: E173, E520, E521, E523 E541, E545, E554, E555 E556, E559.  Antacids quite often contain aluminum trisilicate as does buffered aspirin.
Foods containing aluminium based additives include dry cake mixes, pastries and croissants made from frozen dough, processed cheeses, some donuts and waffles, check muffins for E541 (sodium aluminum phosphate), and food coloring.  The list of substances containing aluminium salts is quite depressing. The caking agents added to salt can be aluminum compounds. The common ones are E544, E545 and E546.
The use of aluminum in drinking water is starting to be looked at in Canada and Australia, most utilities in Europe and the United States do exceed the recommended level of 100 microgrammes per litre, some by as much as sixty times!   Another obvious and easily avoided source is aluminum cooking pots and pans, this can be quite easily remedied by using enamelled, stainless steel and cast iron pots. Cooking in earthenware and glass containers is another option. There is no need to throw out all of your aluminium pots, it is OK to fry food in aluminium pans - and intact Teflon, non-stick coatings will effectively prevent any of the aluminum from reaching the food.(not that not everyone believes that Teflon is harmless, but that is another story - Ed)
Pregnant women also those who are breast feeding their children should avoid all sources as should those on slimming and weight loss diets.  Apparently when iron, calcium, magnesium and zinc levels drop, the uptake of aluminium worsens.  Taking mineral supplements seems to be a good idea, particularly for vegetarians, absorption is dramatically reduced by the presence of iron in the body. As it is cumulative, slow acting and extremely persistent, older people are at particularly at risk. 
Until the water utilities get the level of aluminium down to recommended levels it is prudent to use untreated spring or mineral water for drinking and cooking.  Few of us are wealthy enough to spend two months in the year at a health spa, however you can help eliminate toxic metals including simply by drinking sulfur containing spring water such as "San Pellegrino". Beans and garlic are known to release detoxifying sulfur compounds. The sulfur detox has been shown to remove mercury and arsenic and other toxic metals which act in conjunction with aluminium. (Aparently the sulfur compounds are effective with most heavy metals but not aluminum - Ed)
Some are more susceptible than others, we mentioned some groups in the previous paragraph but there is a sizable proportion of the population who have a genetic predisposition to accumulate aluminum, Down Syndrome sufferers are such a group and another group are people who have the genetic defect most commonly associated with Alzheimer's; a DNA sequence disruption on chromosome 21. 
If you suffer from a bone disease such as osteomalcia or other form of bone softening disease it is recommended that you contact your water utility to find out how much is in the tap water supplied.
Many of those who have gone on to low aluminum diets have reported a reduction in irritability, headaches and significant improvements in memory and ability to concentrate. Parents reported improvements in children suffering from behavioural problems.
Unfortunately in the USA there is a strong and vocal effort by interested parties who use extremely well funded and organised lobbying and proxy organisations to present aluminum compounds as harmless minerals, however is is not all gloom and doom as there are now many independent researchers who are doing their own tests to establish the toxic effects of the metal. Despite the noise and doubts generated by powerful vested interests there is more than enough evidence to justify avoiding it in our diet.

After more than 30 years US District Court issues injunction to stop compulsory vaccination

A Preliminary Injunction to stop mandatory vaccinations has been issued in the United States District Court of New Jersey. This comes after a federal lawsuit opposing forced vaccines was filed in that court by Tim Vawter, pro se attorney, on July 31st with the federal government as defendant. When the judge signs the Preliminary Injunction, it will stop the federal government from forcing anyone in any state to take flu vaccine against their will. It will also prevent a state or local government from forcibly vaccinating anyone, and forbid any person who is not vaccinated from being denied any services or constitutional rights. Vawter's filings included a Complaint, and several pages of evidentiary Exhibits. Vawter's legal papers have been written not only for filing in federal court, but additionally so they can be looked at by activists around the world for ideas on filing lawsuits in their own countries to help stop forced vaccinations. Vawter believes that as the truth of the dangers of flu vaccines continues to become known, banning the forced use of them will eventually succeed on a worldwide basis. He cautions people to avoid fear and keep themselves focused on the task of blocking forced vaccination. Preliminary Injunction will immediately halt mandatory vaccinations in the U.S. The Court, having heard the Motion for Preliminary Injunction and read the papers in its support, states in the Preliminary Injunction that it appears the federal government has engaged in some amount of negligence with regards to failure to properly investigate the safety of the flu vaccines scheduled for use in late 2009-2010, and the evidence submitted does warrant a more thorough investigation into the safety of the flu vaccines. The Court ordered that the government shall be forbidden from forcing any person to be required to take any influenza vaccination against that person's free will and free choice. The government will not allow any state or local government, or any party, to force any person to be required to take any influenza vaccination against that person's free will and free choice. U.S. government sued for gross negligence and violation of the Constitution In his Cause of Action, Vawter charged that the federal government has engaged in gross negligence by funding and promoting flu vaccines that are proven to be dangerous and manufactured with little oversight. The vaccines scheduled for use in late 2009 and 2010 contain heavy metals including thimerosal mercury, which have been proven to cause autism in children with lowered immune systems, and other dangerous and toxic ingredients. The federal government has stated it will force these flu vaccines onto the American public against their will, under a document signed by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. He further charged that the vaccine makers stand to earn billions of dollars selling vaccines, and are already spending tens of millions advertising a "Phase 6 Pandemic" that the evidence shows does not really exist. The federal government has not required the World Health Organization (WHO) to show evidence of such a pandemic. There has been no collection of facts, sworn testimony, witnesses being questioned, hearings being held, or lie detector tests being given when preposterous statements have been made. The WHO declared a massive "Phase 6 Influenza Pandemic", even though only a few hundred people worldwide had so far died of this swine flu virus, and when far more people die each year of regular flu. Vawter noted there is a preponderance of evidence to show that the federal government so poorly trained its employees that they eagerly agreed with the unsubstantiated claims of the WHO in the face of evidence to the contrary. Forced vaccination would violate the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution by allowing the government to enter homes and force people to be vaccinated, or to forcibly remove people to another location for vaccination. It would also violate Fifth Amendment Constitutional rights by depriving people of liberty without due process of law. Vawter charged that the federal government has engaged in gross negligence by failing to properly investigate factual evidence submitted by esteemed medical professions over many years which proves flu vaccines have caused serious damage to people. The CDC has stated that thimerosal mercury is being used in the new flu vaccines being prepared. The government has failed to investigate profiteering. Billions of dollars in vaccine sales can cause organizations to falsify threats so as to cause unwarranted public hysteria leading to forced vaccinations. The government is guilty of gross negligence because its employees failed to properly investigate the release of a case of live swine flu virus. One of the main companies the government deals with, Baxter Vaccines, was apparently involved in the transporting of live bird flu virus that was released on a public train earlier this year. A lab technician with the Swiss National Center for Influenza in Geneva had traveled to Zurich to collect eight ampoules, five of which were filled with the H1N1 swine flu virus. However, failure of the dry ice in their container allowed pressure to build up, and the ampoules exploded as the train was pulling into a station. The highly reputable UK newspaper "the Telegraph" reported on July 2nd that flu vaccines tested on homeless people caused twenty-one of them to die. Vawter charged there is a preponderance of evidence to show that government will not provide people being vaccinated with a list of the vaccine ingredients and possible negative side effects before they are vaccinated. Most of the public will not know this flu vaccine contains thimerosal mercury. Vawter submitted an Order to force the government to publish vaccine ingredients and side effects, and to give this information to everyone who takes a flu vaccine, and do so at least 3 days prior to their vaccination. A denial of this order would violate Plaintiff's rights to demand the government obey the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution by requiring it to engage in freedom of speech. The First Amendment not only allows a citizen to have freedom of speech himself, but it allows a citizen to demand his government engage in freedom of speech when it is promoting the use of such as these vaccinations to the public. The government proclamation stating a person cannot sue for any damages he receives from the flu vaccine, completely bypasses the congress and the court system in violation of the Seventh Amendment of the Constitution which grants the right to sue to recover for damages. Vawter submitted an Order to deem unconstitutional any proclamation, rule or similar law that forbids people from suing for damages resulting from the vaccines of 2009 and 2010.

Best advice to never have a heart attack (or another one)


According to the American Heart Association (AHA), coronary heart disease (CHD) is the single leading cause of death in America. CHD causes heart attacks and angina (chest pain). These CHD statistics are directly from the AHA website:

* Mortality — 451,326 deaths in the United States in 2004 (one of every five deaths).
* Incidence — 1,200,000 new and recurrent coronary attacks per year. (National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's Atherosclerotic Risk in Communities [ARIC] Study and Cardiovascular Health Study (CHS). About 38 percent of people who experience a coronary attack in a given year die from it.

Living the American way and eating the standard American diet (SAD), you may just wind up as one these AHA statistics someday.

There are several things you can do to significantly reduce your risk of ever having a heart attack:

1. Eat only plant foods, i.e. vegetables, beans, whole grains, and fruits.

2. Consume no visible fat or obvious fat. Be stringent or even eliminate oils.

3. Do not eat dairy products, not even fat-free varieties.

4. Eat an abundance of colorful vegetables and fruits, whole grains, and beans.

5. Exercise

6. Reduce the stress level in your life and practice stress management.

Overcoming Food Allergies


Does your body rebel against one of your favourite foods?

Sensitivities to common food allergens are becoming increasingly widespread in North America. With symptoms ranging from a mild flu-like condition to headaches, difficulty sleeping, bloating and fatigue, they are annoying at best and destructive to our health at worst.

Corn, wheat (and gluten, the protein found in wheat), dairy products and soy have become so pervasive in our food chain that many people have developed an intolerance to them through over-consumption. It is estimated that 98 percent of all processed foods in the typical North American diet contain at least one common allergen. In fact, corn and wheat by-products can be found in almost all conventional fast food.
Common food allergens
Corn

Corn, or maize, in its current state is, believe it or not, a man-made food. This relatively new addition to the human diet causes an allergic reaction in some people. High-fructose corn syrup, one of the most health-damaging derivatives of corn, is frequently used in sport drinks and other processed foods requiring a cheap sweetener. Corn derivatives are used in upward of 90 percent of processed food, and people who eat a standard diet often develop an intolerance and sensitivity to it.
Wheat and gluten

Gluten, the protein found in wheat, is difficult for some people to digest. High levels of gluten are not historically natural to our diet. As with corn, it has been “encouraged” to grow the way it does today to produce a better crop yield. Unfortunately, the consequence of eating it is often mild to severe digestive problems ranging from simply feeling sub par to allergic reactions and celiac disease. Gluten-rich foods are also fairly acid-forming. Wheat, or a derivative, is in nearly all processed food.
Dairy

Cow’s milk comes from a lactating cow. Natural unpasteurized milk from a mother cow is an ideal source of nourishment…for her calf. When the milk is fed to humans, it is no longer being used as it was intended. Many people experience digestive problems when consuming cow’s milk and derivative products. The same holds true with goat’s and sheep’s milk. Most healthy bodies are capable of building a resistance to small amounts of dairy; however, in doing so it uses energy and reduces the effectiveness of the immune system.
Soy

Soy has traditionally been eaten in Asia as a condiment, not as a main course. Since the Western world has embraced soy as a meat substitute, it has found its way into our diets on a large scale. I certainly view this as progress; however, some people have not experienced the vitality they were seeking when switching to a plant-based diet. Soy, as with gluten and corn, is in nearly all processed foods, and we risk developing an intolerance to it.
Active yeast

Active yeast is a form of yeast that is living and needs sugar to survive once it comes into contact with moisture. Used to make bread dough rise, it is a standard ingredient in most baked goods. The yeast feeds on the sugar used when making bread, and later survives by feeding on our body’s sugars. This can cause yeast infections and candidiasis.

Daily Detox Drink


For you all that like to get something in the morning to drink really quick and go, and still get that boost you need for the rest of the day...you should try to make this drink everyday and drink it before you eat anything in the morning..

Recipe:
1/2 Pink or Red Grapefruit
1 Lemon
1 Orange
2 Tbsp Organic Maple Syrup
Shakes of Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Cup Water

Blend it all together and drink up...it's a great drink...I love it!!!!

4 Common Detoxification Methods

Introduction
In order to complete a body detoxification there are actually several ways to do it. All of the methods that are used in a body detoxification mainly depend on the individual person and her or her preferences.

There are all sorts of ways to cleanse the body of foreign substances and toxins, but a few of those ways include the old sea-salt flush, coffee detoxification, foot detoxification, as well as other conventional methods, too.

People should also be aware that certain meditation techniques have been known to rid the body of residual toxins. This is because meditation and relaxation can reduce the amount of toxin-producing acid in the body. Balancing your body to it's normal acid/alkaline level enhances the natural ability of the body to heal itself.

For now, we will detail just a few types body detox systems.

Sea Salt Flush

The Sea Salt Flush removes waste matter which for some reason has not yet been removed by the elimination process. This waste material could be sitting there for years!

In his self confidence course (CD #5), Brian Tracy describes the sea salt flush like this:

Disolve 2 level teaspoons of sea salt (not regular salt) in a quart (950 milliliters) of warm water. Drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

This will flush out your entire system in approximately one hour.

I have done the Sea Salt Flush and the taste is really disgusting, however, I always feel better after doing it. I try and do this at least once a year for general health.

Sea Salt Flush Tips

  • It is difficult to drink a whole quart of this mixture straight up. I drink a small glass of it every 20 minutes until it is all gone.
  • Don't go out anywhere. Stay home near the ammenities because when it's time to go, it really is time to go!
  • Some wellness centers (See Erric Davis) recommend taking Activated Charcoal immediately after going to the dunny the second time. This is to soak up excess toxins.
  • Be aware that sea salt contains traces of heavy metals. If you have a severe heavy metal problem, you might like to consider other options like a Vitamin C Flush for example.

Coffee Detoxification

The concept of the coffee detoxification system is pretty simple, but it is basically going to be a coffee enema that the individual undergoes. This is a detoxification process that will certainly cleanse the whole body instead of focusing on specific parts of it.

However, if one is going to complete a coffee enema then the first thing that is needed is the ingredients. Because typical commercial coffees, such as Folgers and other popular name brands are not produced for total body detox plans, one will need to look to the organic section of the grocery store.

Purchasing organically grown coffee beans (ones that aren't sprayed with pesticides) and boiling it just as you would any other coffee beans is necessary. After you have separated the liquid from the coffee grounds only then should you place it in the enema to get started.

Raw Juices

Another way to complete a total body detoxification is through the use of raw juices. There are many types of juices that one can use in order to complete a detox plan, but the number one thing that one must realize is that he or she will benefit the most from raw juices.

These raw juices include things like broccoli, spinach, kale, along with many others. Along with drinking raw juices, though, during this detoxification, one should also digest plenty of vegetable soup.

Conventional Methods

The type of conventional method that is typically used to undergo a body detoxification is a sauna or heat room. Many people take advantage of these at their local gym, but they can also be placed in a house.

Using a sauna will benefit you in the long run by getting rid of toxins in the body and there are some that will actually use infra red to complete the job.

All of these methods of detoxification, though, are certain to rid the body and cleanse it for the time being. Of course, you'll want to repeat the process over again frequently, but there are definitely many ways to do so.

Cause and Effect

You should know that for every effect there is a cause.

If you find that you need regular detoxing too often just to break even, it could be wise to discover what is causing your body to get toxic over and over again so quickly in the first place.

Why People Do a Body Detox

One of the reasons that many people choose body detoxification diets is because they think that it will actually help them and their bodies:

  • Fight off infections.
  • Strengthen their immune systems.
  • Give them a range of other benefits.
Even though it's true that these are some of the possibilities of a detoxification diet and process, there is one element of the human body that these individuals are underestimating, and that is the organs of the human body themselves.

The Immune System

For starters, the body does have a series of natural line of defenses that are used in fighting off pathogens, foreign agents, and warding off diseases. This is called the immune system and it is strengthened by the other parts of the body when we are eating healthy foods, exercising properly, and doing all of the activities that we should be engaging in.

However, many advocates of the detoxification diet claim that our body's immune system will be strengthened even more. If this is so then these individuals should continue to explain how people are just as healthy without the detoxification diet.

On the other hand, one must consider the fact that the body does have a natural detoxification process in order to cleanse the body. Indeed, there are various recipes for detoxification liquids and juices, however, let's examine what the body does first.

The Colon and Kidneys

We have already reviewed what the immune system does, so let's look at the colon and kidneys next. The colon and kidneys are two very important organs in our body. The main purpose of these two organs is to excrete wastes from the body.

In fact, the kidney is so smart that it is able to filter out all of the good blood for the wastes that it intends to excrete when it's time for the body to get rid of them. In the same way, though, the colon is also very instrumental in helping carrying out the same processes throughout the body.

Considerations

When one considers that the body has a natural detoxification process throughout its system then it is also important to consider why one would even want to engage in a detoxification diet.

For example, some parts of the detoxification diet include having an individual drink gallons upon gallons of water each day that they are undergoing the diet. This may be very useful for cleansing the inside of the body, but think about the dangers of also consuming too much water in one day.

The kidneys and other organs that are a part of the body's excretion systems are only able to work so hard and if they are overloaded then this certainly is not good for the body.

Healthy Living

One must consider complete health and wellness which includes all the positive affects of:
  • A healthy diet.
  • Regular exercise.
  • Relaxation and/or meditation.
  • Proper rest and recreation.
  • Fun and laughter.
There are many benefits to eating everything that the Food and Drug Administration says that is healthful to eat. However, the FDA also has not stated that a body detox process is good for the body, rather, they recommend getting the proper vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that are needed each day.

Having Said All That - There is little advantage to eating all the right foods if you are unrested, stressed, always worried, over worked and sleep depraved. Burning the candle at both ends is a debt which must (and will) be repaid!

All in all, a detoxification process may be just the diet that some people may need to get themselves on the right track toward a healthier lifestyle, but it certainly is not the be-all-end-all in the health and wellness world.

One must also attempt to discover the causes which lead to the undesireable effects in the first place. One of the most simple ways to do this is by having regular quiet-times or meditations in order to bring to the surface what is really bothering us.

Parasites - The Guests Who Came to Dinner

The intestinal tract is like a luxury hotel for parasites, bacteria and fungus. It’s warm, it’s moist, and oxygen is limited due to all the waste matter that’s packed in there. The colon – one of the most important organs in the body – is a dumping ground for waste, the place where the body toxins and excess nutrients that could be harmful to the system. It’s also where your body absorbs the nutrients that it needs in order to function and survive – so the health of your colon is mighty important. Parasites in particular can be dangerous to the health of the colon, leeching nutrients from the body and emitting emit harmful toxins that can further weaken the colon’s integrity. This can lead to a number of problems, from the mildly annoying to the deadly, such as:

  • Blood sugar imbalances
  • Bloating
  • Sugar cravings
  • Fatigue
  • Insomnia
  • Weight gain or loss
  • Teeth grinding or TMJ
  • Diarrhea
  • Itching
  • Irritability
  • Malnutrition
  • Anemia
  • Immune deficiency

It’s estimated that over 90 percent of Americans contract a parasite of some kind at some point in their life. They enter our bodies from a variety of sources, including pets, food and unwashed hands. You can pick up parasites from contact with pets and other people, or just by walking barefoot. Children are easily infected by being less aware of hygiene and playing with dirt and other possible contaminated substances. But meat consumption is probably the biggest contributor to parasites flourishing in our bodies.

Eating meat can cause constipation, and constipation creates the perfect environment for parasites to thrive. These unwelcome guests multiply in the haustras, the pouches in the colon where debris is stored. At their least offensive, they cause intestinal gas – but if you experience any of the symptoms above, even something as seemingly minor as chronically itchy skin, you could very well be harboring parasites in your colon.

There are several families of parasites: Roundworms, Tapeworms, Flukes and Single Cell parasites. Each group has its own unique subset of parasites who do different things to your body. Let’s look at some of the more common intestinal parasite and what you can do to avoid them:

Giardia lamblia are protozoan parasites that infect humans via consumption of contaminated food and water. It’s commonly found in untreated water supplies, and is one of the most common causes of diarrhea in travelers, but people sometimes pick them up while swimming in ponds and lakes.
